Streamline your coordination workflows thanks to the Native Survey Point in Archicad 25. Set and lock your project’s survey point and use it to coordinate with stakeholders — regardless of the software they’re using. Survey Point supports IFC and BCF file exchange and offers better interoperability with conventional file formats, like DWG.
Better collaboration with engineers using Revit MEP software
Support for Revit file formats up to 2021 is now built in to Archicad. Import RFA as a native Archicad Object and create MEP equipment from Revit Family files. Export a 3D model as Revit 3D geometry and hotlink a 3D RVT model. Archicad now handles Revit’s Discipline filter, so when you hotlink a Revit file, what you see in Revit is what you get in Archicad.
Populate your model with information by importing Excel sheets from your consultant into Archicad. Available as a Technology Preview, now even Hotlink Modules are supported!
Structural Analytical Model Improvements
Generation Rules help structural engineers avoid heavy manual work on the Structural Analytical model. Archicad 25 adds performance enhancing functions, like Improvement of Offset Adjustments and Connection Range, Eliminating Overlapping Parts of 2D Members, and Streamlined Structural Supports.
Design
39 new contemporary furnishings – modular kitchen cabinets, sofas, clothes hangers, curtains, coat racks, tables, chairs, mattresses, and grills — are now part of the default Archicad library, totaling over 1,300 parametric objects.
Working in 3D, but need to edit a component in 2D? Simply select the element and open it in any other view. Moving back and forth between 2D and 3D is just as easy.
Get accurate quantity estimates with customizable polygonal openings that will fit your MEP elements exactly.
Stair Tool Improvements
Comply with specific local standards when defining the length of stairs’ walking lines thanks to a new calculation algorithm. The existing Along Arc geometry method is still available and can be used with either algorithm.
In addition to checking for duplicate and fully overlapping elements, Archicad can now check for partially overlapping model elements as well. Deliver models with full confidence using this Technology Preview feature!

Communicate your designs in life-like detail. Display your surface textures directly in section and elevation views without the need for post-processing software.
Present your designs with accurate, artistic details. Use soft shadows to add contours and depth to your surfaces in section and elevation views. Overlay textures with the pattern fill of your choice. Your client gets a better picture of the model, and you get faster approvals.

Calculate components’ “conditional” area and volume, in addition to net and gross values. Set up rules and conditions to fit specific local requirements to ignore openings, as necessary.
Customize your element schedules quickly and easily thanks to a flexible and consistent format. List, unify, add, or quantify even non-identical cells when merging them.
Highlight any element with custom colors or contours. New controls in Graphic Overrides include custom RGB colors for both Surface and Fill Background Pen overrides; surface transparency; and on/off display of contours on cut and uncut surfaces in model views.
